As a part of the Unleashed NYC community, we know that life doesn’t always keep you near a barbell or a squat rack. Whether you’re traveling for work, going on vacation, or just away from the gym for a few days, it’s essential to keep your fitness routine intact. That’s where our Travel Workouts come in, offering you simple, effective, and challenging options no matter what your surroundings are like. We’ve broken it down into four categories based on the equipment (or lack thereof) you might have access to!

BODYWEIGHT Only

No Equipment, No Excuse

When you’re completely without gear, your body is your best tool. Our

No Equipment Workouts are designed to keep you moving, strong, and sweaty using just bodyweight exercises. These are perfect for hotel rooms, small spaces, or outdoor environments with nothing but open air.

These workouts will push your stamina, endurance, and mental grit, focusing on functional movements that are cornerstones of CrossFit. Expect exercises like burpees, squats, push-ups, lunges, and core movements.

DUMBBELLS Only

Dumbbell Only? No Problem!

Dumbbells are a game-changer when you’re on the go. Many hotel gyms offer at least a basic set, and if you’re lucky, you might have access to heavier weights too. Our Dumbbell Workouts are designed to be scalable based on the weight you can find, so no matter what, you can get a killer workout.

These workouts will focus on unilateral strength, metabolic conditioning, and full-body movements that will leave you sweating and strong. Think dumbbell snatches, lunges, push presses, and more.

PULLUP BAR Only

Just a Pullup Bar? Let's Go!

Pull-up bars are often accessible, whether it’s in a local park or the hotel gym. With just a pull-up bar, you can knock out an incredible upper-body-focused workout, but we’ll throw in some lower-body and core work to keep things balanced.

This category focuses on pull-ups, toes-to-bar, hanging knee raises, and other movements that engage your upper body and core. We’ll sprinkle in some leg work too so you’re hitting every muscle group.

JUMP ROPE Only

Got a Jump Rope? You're Set!

A jump rope is a compact, lightweight piece of equipment that you can take anywhere—and it opens up a whole world of possibilities.

Jump Rope Workouts are fantastic for boosting your cardiovascular endurance while still targeting major muscle groups.

Expect a blend of jump rope variations paired with bodyweight exercises. These fast-paced workouts are great for getting your heart rate up quickly, while still improving coordination, agility, and strength.

RUNNING Only

Ready to Run? Lace Up and Go!

Running is one of the simplest and most effective travel workouts. All you need is a good pair of running shoes and an open road, and you're set! Running not only boosts cardiovascular endurance, but it also strengthens your legs, improves mental clarity, and burns calories fast. Whether you're exploring new streets, trails, or parks, running is the perfect way to stay fit on the go, clear your mind, and enjoy your surroundings. Expect interval sprints, steady-state jogs, or hill runs to keep your workouts challenging and fun!
